Beautiful

I have been watching these on amazon for a while now. I have held off on getting them because they seem slightly pricy, and some of the reviews state that they are thin and break easily. I am so glad I went ahead and bought them! like many people, I am moving away from plastics and back towards glass and other more natural materials.

These jars are not only sleek, stylish, and beautiful, but very convenient and useable for daily living. I disagree that the glass is too thin. They actually seem pretty sturdy, and I like that the glass is thick enough to feel sturdy, but not so thick that it gives the jar a chunky cheap look. The size is also very convenient. I have added pictures to help with scaling because that was something I had a hard time visualizing while trying to decide to buy these or not.

Another thing that was not mentioned in the other reviews or the product discription is the white bodum label printed onto the glass. I suppose you could write the contents of the jar on that label if desired. It is not beautiful, but not obnoxious either. If you don't like the label, turn the jar around. Problem sloved :)

Looks great on counter

I use them to store fresh roasted and deferent varieties green coffee likeCoffee Bean Direct Green Sumatra Mandheling, Whole Bean Coffee, 5-Pound Bag and a few others sold by Amazon. Easy on and off air tight lid that has a thin silicon seal. The lid is also concaved so they could be stacked. I think they look great on the counter beside my stainless steel espresso machine and grinder.

Pretty Jar for coffee storage.

I just love these storage jars. Great look for the modern/contemporary counter. But, they are highly breakable and the glass breaks into tiny, tiny slivers. So, Be careful if you have small children.
