No problem with the spoon, but Amazon doesn't give exact dimensions

Like all other wooden utensils, it needs some TLC, i.e. mineral oil, or else the surface feels really rough.

I wonder why Amazon doesn't give out the exact dimensions of this product, which is 13.5 inches * 2.5 inches * 1.0 inch.

My wife loves it

My wife likes wooden kitchen utensils. She is very pleased with this one as it is exceptionally heavy duty and well worth the price paid.

UPDATE; We have used this brand quite a bit now and even I, who does not like wooden kitchen utensils, like this brand. They are made of a high quality wood and they are very thick in width. I guess that is how you would say it but the point I'm trying to get across is that this brand will not break or chip very easily. In fact you would have to abuse it a lot to get them to break.

Another thing I have noticed, and this is my main gripe about wooden utensils, is that this brand does not seem to absorb water or food into them nearly as much as the discount store brands. I'm still not 100% sure on that as that's how they appear for now. I'm going to keep an eye on this and if it changes I will post an update. This normally is not a problem if you wash any wooden utensil immediately after use but there are times that this just is not possible and there have been times I have seen the lower quality brands get a permanet stain in them after only a short time of not getting washed. I wind up throwing those away. I want clean food, not food with yesterday's bacteria in it. I'm very picky about food cleanliness.

Large and sturdy line of spoons

*10 months later update. Do not let these spoons sit in liquid (like soak in water for an hour to get off cheese residue)because the spoons split exposing the seams in the spoon. Wishing they were sealed like my Joyce Chen wooden spoons (that I recommend).

Bought all available sizes of these Calphalon wooden spoons and extremely pleased with the quality and size of the products. Sturdy, thick, solid, and smooth finish.
