Price Too High for CR2032 batteries
By afuddyduddy
Sorry, I have not used the batteries, but assume they will be adequate. The packaging is nice. I have no way to measure quality of batteries. They are labeled as made in Indonesia, without a brand name.
Bought this before the Thermapen arrived, thinking it took hard to find batteries. But the Thermapen takes common CR2032 batteries. A pair of CR2032 batteries should not cost $4 + $4.95 shipping.

Not needed
By Bob
The batteries came, same day as the thermometer. After reading the thermometer package stating the existing batteries last 1000 hrs, it may be a couple years before I need the ones I got. Pretty sure they will be useless by then anyway.

You REALLY don't need these.
By JR
The Thermapen already comes with batteries. They will last for 1500 hours. If you left the Thermapen on for an hour a day every day, they would last for over four years. However, the Thermapen has auto-off so the original batteries should last even longer. I didn't buy these so maybe they are decent batteries but you really don't need them. I gave these a single star because I think somebody is trying to make a buck that you don't really need to spend. The CR2032 battery is very common and you can buy them almost anywhere. I see these are not offered on amazon by Thermoworks so they won't even come with the thermapen shipment so why buy them? Order them in five years when you finally need them. Then you won't have to hunt through the house to remember where you put them.
