It Burns! It Buuuuuurrrrnnnnssss!
By Daniel Gore
Standard gel fuel. As usual, last for about 10 minutes less than the time you take to finish the fondue, but you just add a bit more gel fuel and good to go. I'd recommend this product.

Great Product
By Tanya Van Alstine
I have been preparing fondue for over 10 years. The fire gel is excellent for fuel/sterno heated fondue pots. I make my cheese fondue stovetop first and transfer to my CORDLESS cast iron pot. I own both cordless and fuel fondue pots and prefer the fuel style. The setting is more intimate and there is no tangling with a cord. I only use my corded pots for buffet style settings. However, the cheese is not as good once transferred to one's plate and cooled off before eating.
The Swissmar fuel will keep the cheese warm and bubbley. As the cheese content goes down in the pot with use, the flame will need adjusting to keep it from burning. If you have trouble getting your cheese to melt directly over the flame - make sure your pot is preheated; similar to preheating the oven.

Yep...it burns...
By Jasper Koenig
Does what it's supposed to...it burns. It leaves quite a bit of gel that doesn't want to burn though. I've never used this kind of stuff before, though, so maybe that's just the way it works?
