Works Great - Get the newer version

I bought (2) of the older versions (at Lowes) and (1) of this version (from Amazon). The newer version is smaller, and easier to install. Wiring is located in center (where it should be) unlike the older version which was a pain to get some of the wires to reach the screw terminals.

Yes, the newer version does not have (LED) status lights. So what.

I linked mine with a Vera2 (paired just fine) and so this is the version to get, not the older one. Works as advertised.

Nice Z-Wave Thermostat

This thermostat was straight forward to install, it paired easily to my vera2. The thermostat has a few nice features like filter replacement notification and AC System maintenance notification. The daily usage graph is nice but I wish you could review more that the last 7 days, and it would be nice to see that information as well as the filter notifications in vera.

Z-Wave themrmostat

This is a new geenration of the Trane / RCS thermostat.
Not only the case is different , also the inside board layout has changed.
Apart from that it works just identical to the previous model.
I used this to replace an older honywell upstairs ( i have a zoned system ) . Now both zones have their own Z-Wave control.
